About Hayes
Tuning remains a frequent roadblock for many students during their first attempts at proper maintenance. I sit with you to ensure your guitar is ready for the rigors of practice and performance. We will read tabs together and develop your ear training until the fretboard feels like an extension of your own hand.
This process is designed for teens and performance-focused students seeking long-term growth. To support your development, I provide a monthly recorded review of progress for every learner. Your musical aspirations remain the primary target of our time together.

You might find yourself struggling with the nuances of fingerpicking or the precision required for electric technique, but I am here to help you resolve these hurdles. Holding a BMus, I combine technical discipline with the artistic sensibility gained from my 5 years as a gigging musician. I have mentored 126 students including kids and advanced players. My teaching journey is informed by a commitment to rhythm guitar and lead guitar excellence.
