About Marcus
Completing my BA in Spanish at Middlebury College provided the academic foundation for the 9 years of teaching I have provided to students. Honestly, I find that teaching heritage learners is the most rewarding part of my work because it allows me to help kids from Latino families formalize the language they already know. Growing up in Santiago informs how I teach these nuances every day. I simply enjoy connecting with the diaspora culture and helping my students grow through our shared linguistic roots, which is just quite lovely.

I incorporate specific Latin American vs Castilian variants to ensure you have a global grasp of the language. 8 distinct methods are used to balance listening practice with vocabulary building and situational role play.
