About Amy
Sitting in a classroom at East Tennessee State University to earn my BFA Music Performance degree was the final step in a long journey of performing at festivals across the American South. Over 13 years, I have helped a diverse group of students, including those who have taught themselves for years, to find their true voices. I work with adults who want to master breath control, diction, and articulation through disciplined practice.
Dealing with 433 students has taught me how to adjust my teaching for any genre styling from pop to musical theater. I focus heavily on vocal health and stage fear management to keep you singing for a lifetime. My teaching style is straightforward and gentle.

I use performance recordings reviewed together each month to track your subtle improvements. These sessions are perfect for adults or performance-focused students seeking structure. My BFA from East Tennessee State University informs every exercise we choose. Feel free to join me for a session.
