About Maya
I’m a final-year Chemical Engineering student at the University of Bath. During my A Levels, I was unwell and relied on weekly tutoring to catch up on missed content. Without that support, I would have had to retake a year at school. Now, as I approach the end of my degree, I want to offer the same help to other students. I know how valuable one-to-one support can be, so I always take the time to understand each student’s individual needs and tailor my teaching accordingly.

I adapt my teaching to suit each student’s learning style and needs. In a typical one-hour session, we’ll begin with key theory, then move on to practice questions to apply what we've covered. Whether you're finding a subject challenging or aiming for top marks, my main goal is to help you build confidence in your abilities. I have experience tutoring GCSE Chemistry and Maths, and also offer support in Physics. My lessons are aimed at secondary school students at any level up to and including GCSEs.
