About Aimee

I am an ESL tutor with 5 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over this time, I have taught 150-200 students, helping them build English proficiency, confidence, and academic skills. Teaching for me is more than just a profession; it is a passion that allows me to empower students to communicate effectively and achieve their goals.

My teaching philosophy centres around practical, interactive, and student-focused lessons. I use real-life examples, engaging exercises, and discussions to develop speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. I also focus on building confidence, creativity, and critical thinking so students can communicate independently and successfully in any setting.

Some of my proudest milestones include students speaking fluently for the first time, improving grades dramatically, delivering presentations confidently, and expressing themselves clearly in writing. Each of these moments is a reminder of the transformative power of personalised teaching and encouragement.

I strive to create a supportive, motivating, and positive learning environment where students feel safe to make mistakes, ask questions, and explore the language. Teaching ESL is my passion, and I am committed to helping students reach their full potential while enjoying the journey of learning English.
