About Johan
I have lectured and tutored at Warwick University, ranked 2nd in the UK in Philosophy (Times University Guide), for over five years.
I also have extensive experience marking Philosophy essays, and years of experience as an essay writing tutor. I know precisely how you can score a great mark on any Philosophy essay you write!

My technique, informed by years of experience teaching Undergraduates and in Higher Education, is Socratic. I invite discussions on the topics, using my own knowledge to shape those discussions in the direction most helpful to developing a good understanding of the main texts.
Lessons range from 30 minutes to an hour. I can tailor lessons to all levels, from GCSE, A level, all the way to Undergraduate. If you are just interested in getting to know some Philosophy, I can help there too!
