About Tessa
I’m a Math tutor with more than 2 years of experience helping students master university-level calculus. I hold a BSc in Mathematical Sciences, which provided strong training in mathematical analysis and problem solving. My goal is to make calculus understandable and engaging. Difficult concepts can become clear with the right approach.
Lessons focus on core topics such as derivatives, integrals, and differential equations. I connect these ideas to real-world applications in engineering and scientific research. Students learn both the methods and the purpose behind the mathematics. This deepens understanding.
Interactive simulations help visualize curves, slopes, and changing quantities. These visual tools make abstract concepts easier to grasp. Regular practice builds confidence.
I have worked with STEM students and aspiring engineers from around the world. Supporting their analytical development is very rewarding. Let’s work together to master calculus and strengthen your mathematical thinking.

This teaching approach focuses on helping students understand higher mathematics through logic and reflection. Mathematics becomes meaningful when its ideas are explored deeply. Each lesson encourages thoughtful learning.
Topics such as abstract algebra, number theory, and proof writing are explored carefully. Students learn about mathematical structures like groups and rings. These topics reveal the hidden patterns of mathematics.
Proof techniques are practiced regularly. Students learn how to build logical arguments step by step. Methods such as induction and contradiction strengthen reasoning skills.
Advanced theoretical ideas are explained gradually. Difficult theorems are broken into smaller steps. This makes them easier to understand.
The learning environment is supportive and patient. Students are encouraged to think independently and explore ideas deeply. Curious learners often enjoy this approach. Together we will discover new ways to think mathematically.
