About Gabby
I am a third-year medical student at the University of Nottingham with three years of tutoring experience in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have worked with students of different ages and abilities, helping them build confidence, strengthen their understanding and improve their academic performance.
My lessons are tailored to each student rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to identify areas they find difficult, explain concepts in a clear and approachable way, and use practice questions to make sure they can apply what they have learnt.
I am friendly, patient and encouraging, and I aim to create an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Coming from a family of teachers has also given me a strong understanding of how differently children learn and the importance of adapting explanations to the individual.
Having recently completed GCSEs and A-levels myself before progressing to medical school, I understand the demands of exams and can also help students with revision techniques, exam strategy and effective study habits. I have received positive feedback from previous students and parents, and references/reviews from past students are available upon request.

My lessons are interactive, structured and tailored to each student. I usually begin with a short recap of previous topics before introducing new content using clear explanations, diagrams and visual resources. We then work through practice and exam-style questions together to build confidence and develop strong exam technique.
I adapt every lesson to the individual student, whether they need help understanding difficult concepts, improving their grades, preparing for an upcoming exam or simply becoming more confident in the subject. I have over three years of tutoring experience and have taught students aged 8–21, with particularly extensive experience supporting GCSE and A-level students. I have received consistently positive feedback from students and parents.
