About Emily
I am a Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and a MSc in Applied Physics. I help students master optics and wave phenomena, including light, sound, and electromagnetic waves. Lessons cover ray tracing, interference, diffraction, and applications in modern technology.
I guide students studying photonics, imaging sciences, and telecommunications. I emphasize conceptual understanding, visualization, and hands-on problem solving. Lessons incorporate simulations, examples, and real-world applications.
I aim to make learning wave physics inspiring and practical. Students see how waves affect technology and perception. Together, we explore the science behind the tools and phenomena that shape our world.

My teaching philosophy is simple: Physics should feel understandable and exciting rather than overwhelming. I use a warm, supportive approach where concepts are explained through real-life stories and interactive discussions before moving toward equations and calculations.
Students explore many topics connected to everyday life, including motion, forces, waves, electricity, and energy. These ideas are explained through examples such as transportation, sound systems, light behavior, and natural phenomena that students observe daily.
To make lessons more engaging, I include visual aids, diagrams, and simple demonstrations whenever possible. I also introduce the historical discoveries behind important physics ideas, showing how scientists explored nature and built the knowledge we study today.
Students with ambitions in aviation or physics competitions receive deeper conceptual guidance and advanced problem-solving practice. Their curiosity is encouraged, and their analytical abilities grow steadily with consistent support.
