About Kael
I am a passionate saxophone tutor with more than 9 years of experience teaching college students. I believe music education should be practical, motivating, and enjoyable. My teaching approach focuses on building strong fundamentals while encouraging creativity and personal expression.
Lessons include tone building, breathing exercises, finger technique, rhythm control, and expressive performance. I introduce improvisation in a simple and structured way so students feel confident exploring music. I use real-world examples to make lessons easy to understand and relevant.
To improve learning efficiency, I use recording analysis, guided practice routines, and play-along tracks. These methods help students clearly see and hear their progress. I also teach music theory, ear training, and sight-reading to build a strong musical foundation.
I create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to improve and enjoy their musical journey.

My teaching approach for Saxophone is focused on building strong fundamentals while helping students enjoy music and grow confidently. I begin by understanding the student’s learning level, musical background, and personal goals. Lessons are structured to cover posture, breathing technique, embouchure control, finger coordination, tone quality, articulation, and rhythm accuracy. I explain each concept clearly and demonstrate it so students can apply it easily during practice.
Creativity is an important part of my lessons. I encourage students to explore different sounds, learn songs they enjoy, and practise simple improvisation. This helps them connect emotionally with music and stay motivated. As a mentor, I guide students patiently, offering encouragement and support through challenges.
Critical thinking is developed by teaching students to listen carefully to their playing and understand how to improve. Accountability is maintained through clear practice routines, weekly goals, and regular feedback. Along with Saxophone, I also teach Music Theory, Rhythm Training, Ear Training, and Scale Practice to support overall musical growth.
