About Lydia
With over 5 years of teaching experience and a BA in Ethnomusicology (Vocal Traditions), I help singers explore the beauty and creativity of vocal harmony. My greatest passion lies in arranging voices—stacking harmonies and shaping lush vocal textures that transform music.
I teach a wide range of styles including A Cappella, Pop, Gospel, and R&B. Lessons focus on blending voices, developing counter-melodies, and learning the art of vocal arranging.
Students also discover how music production can enhance vocal work. From layering parts in recordings to understanding studio techniques, technology becomes a creative tool.
Improvisation and composition are an important part of my teaching. I believe every singer has ideas worth exploring and developing.
My academic background in ethnomusicology and music history helps connect modern singing with global vocal traditions. It’s inspiring to see how different cultures shape harmony and vocal expression.
I teach school students, college learners, and aspiring professional vocalists. If you’re excited about discovering new layers in your voice, let’s start building harmonies together.

My teaching approach focuses on technique, creativity, and vocal longevity. Singing should feel free and expressive, but it should also be safe and sustainable.
In lessons we develop breath support, tone quality, pitch control, and vocal coordination. I also guide students through harmony singing and vocal arrangement.
Because many singers perform regularly, I train students to build vocal stamina. This helps them maintain a steady voice during rehearsals, performances, and tours.
We also talk about vocal fatigue and how to avoid it. Students learn how to pace their voice and recognize when it needs rest.
Warm-up routines are an important part of preparation. Post-performance care helps the voice recover after singing for long periods.
For singers in ensembles, we focus on blending, listening, and supporting the group sound.
Healthy vocal habits are always encouraged, including hydration and proper rest.
The aim is to help singers enjoy music while protecting their voice for the future.
