About Edward
Teaching the trumpet allows me to combine my love for music with my passion for helping others succeed. I believe that effective teaching goes beyond technical instruction by building confidence, discipline, and a genuine appreciation for music.
Every lesson is carefully planned to meet the student's individual goals while developing strong fundamentals, musical expression, and performance skills. I encourage students to practice with purpose, stay motivated through achievable goals, and enjoy the learning process at every stage.
My supportive and patient approach helps students build confidence, improve consistently, and develop the skills needed to perform successfully in a variety of musical settings.

Every trumpet lesson is carefully planned to provide students with a balance of technical development, musical creativity, and performance confidence. I teach children, teenagers, and adults using a personalized approach that adapts to each student's experience level and musical interests.
Beginners learn proper breathing, posture, embouchure, note reading, rhythm, scales, articulation, and tone production before progressing to flexibility training, range extension, endurance exercises, dynamics, phrasing, and sight reading.
Intermediate and advanced students explore orchestral excerpts, jazz improvisation, solo performance, ensemble playing, ear training, music theory, and advanced performance techniques.
I also focus on developing effective practice habits, performance preparation, and stage confidence so students feel comfortable performing in concerts, school bands, competitions, and examinations.
My goal is to help every student become a skilled and expressive trumpet player while enjoying every step of the learning process.
