About Susan
Over fifty-five years of flute playing experience. My studies began with Bruno Rondinelli through the Philadelphia Public School System. Studies continued with David Barg through the Settlement Music School. Also took some lessons with Kenton Terry, Steve Tanzer, and Jean-Pierre Rampal. Participated in three Jean-Pierre Rampal Master Classes (was the performing flutist and received critiques from Jean-Pierre Rampal). After the first Master Class Jean-Pierre invited me to take some private lessons with him.
Member of the Florida Flute Association and the National Flute Association. Member of a Flute Consort in Boca Raton (3 concert flutes).

The SusanJM Flute Studio provides a positive, encouraging, and flute-focused place to open one’s mind to the flute and music. I have provided, and still do, private flute lessons, live or virtual, for approximately ten years.
The first session is free for each of us to assess each other and determine if we want to move forward into regular sessions. We will also look at the student’s goals and flute style, and current studies/exercises.
Flute students at all levels are welcome in this flute studio, including adult amateurs.
