I met Sila through her classes, and what immediately stood out to me was how comfortable and welcoming she makes the learning experience. She has a calm and patient way of teaching that never feels intimidating, even when you're completely new to the practice.
What I appreciate most is that she encourages you to listen to yourself rather than simply follow instructions. Her guidance is clear, thoughtful, and always given with genuine care. Because of that, every session feels like a space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and leave feeling a little more balanced than when you arrived.
One experience that stayed with me was realizing how much more present I had become after several classes. It wasn't a dramatic overnight change, but a gradual shift that I only noticed when I looked back and saw how differently I was responding to stress and everyday challenges.
I would happily recommend Sila to anyone looking for a teacher who is knowledgeable, kind, and truly invested in helping her students grow at their own pace.Sila is a great Tai Chi instructor. She is patient, supportive, and explains everything clearly. Her classes have a calm and positive atmosphere, making it easy to learn and improve. I’ve really enjoyed learning from her and would definitely recommend her to anyone interested in Tai Chi.
I've been attending Sila's classes for a while now, and they've helped me in ways I didn't really expect at first. What I appreciate most is how practical and grounding the sessions are. Nothing feels forced and the changes seem to happen naturally over time.
One thing I've noticed is that my concentration has improved a lot, and I've become much more aware of my breathing throughout the day. I also feel lighter, both physically and mentally. The biggest difference for me is the evenings. I used to experience a sense of restlessness and unease almost every day around sunset, and it often felt completely outside of my control. Since taking Sila's courses, that feeling has become much less frequent and much easier to manage when it does appear.
I don't have one specific moment that stands out because, for me, the value has been in the gradual changes that have built up through the classes. Looking back, I can clearly see the difference, and I'm very grateful for it. I would definitely recommend Sila to anyone looking for a calmer, more mindful connection with themselves.
