About Elle
Hi! My name is Elle, and I am a professional tailor, clothing designer, and personal stylist. I have a BS in Fashion Design, a Personal Styling Certification, and 14 years of sewing under my belt. I have been tailoring and altering for 8 years, and teaching sewing for just over a year! I love teaching others my craft, and sharing the joy of a skill I have known for over half my life. Previous students have all loved my lessons, and shown huge progress even after only a few lessons!

About the lesson

The lessons are for adults and children (ages 10 & up), and cover a wide variety of sewing skills. Starting with hand and machine sewing techniques, then proper use of tools, how to choose fabric, project making, and even beginner designing!
I take a calm, step-by-step approach, which allows the student to learn at her or his own pace for 2 hour lessons at a time (as frequently as desired, tho 1-2x/week recommended).
I am well-equipped to teach (Bachelor's in Fashion Design and 14 years sewing experience), and like to get to know my students so they can learn in the way they learn best and excel.
