About Caroline

Everyone has different learning styles, as well as goals and needs when learning a language. This is why I adapt to each individual to provide them with the best learning experience.

My background:
- Master's Degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from the University of Franche-Comté.
- I gave private French lessons in Japan.
- I taught French at a Japanese university.
- I taught general French and animated conversation and pronunciation workshops at a language school in France.
- I taught professional French in an association in France.
- I animated French workshops at a university in France.

About the lesson

With a Master's Degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language and several years of experience in this field, I offer courses in French as a Foreign Language for all levels.

Our first hour of class will be an informal conversation in order to know each other better, assess your level and set the goals for the course. For beginners, we will start with a small introductory course, before discussing your goals. I will then prepare a tailored program for you according to your goals, your needs and your areas of interest.

The content of the courses varies according to the type of course and your goals, but they are usually based on communication and action, and cover all skills: speaking, writing, listening, reading, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and culture, with an emphasis on speaking. Along with situations that you might encounter in your everyday life in France.
I will also give you homeworks so that you can practice between each lesson, and sometimes links or documents to go further.
I usually provide course materials and use different types (authentic documents, materials that I created or taken from a textbook), but I can also recommend a French textbook that we will work from.

I give a 5€ discount for every extra hour if the class is longer than 1 hour (55€ for a 2 hours class instead of 60€).

Group discounts:
- 20€ per person for 2 people.
