About Heidy
With 16 years of culinary experience, I've had the privilege of living my passion for cooking every day. My journey began in culinary school. After graduating, I spent 10 years learning my craft working alongside talented chefs and learning the ins and outs of the culinary world. From the fast-paced environment of commercial kitchens to the artistry of plate design, I developed a deep understanding of what makes exceptional cuisine. As my career evolved, I transitioned into the world of private chef services and cooking competitions, bringing my expertise into the intimate setting of private homes, as well as the chaotic fun of chopped competitions for special guests. For the past six years, I've had the joy of creating personalized culinary experiences for discerning clients, tailoring menus to their unique tastes and preferences and having a blast running around the kitchen creating fun and tasteful creations. In addition to my work as a private chef and competitor, I've also discovered a passion for sharing my knowledge with others. As a culinary instructor, I've had the privilege of teaching cooking classes, workshops, and demonstrations, empowering students with the skills and confidence to explore their own culinary creativity. Throughout my journey, my love for cooking has only grown stronger. I'm constantly inspired by the endless possibilities of flavors, techniques, and ingredients, and I'm excited to continue sharing my passion with others.
