About Amari
I am an experienced Piano tutor with 12 years of teaching experience, guiding school students, college learners, and working professionals. I believe music education should be supportive, motivating, and well-structured.
My teaching philosophy is centred on clarity and regular progress. I make sure students understand the fundamentals before moving to advanced pieces. I focus on correct finger movement, coordination, rhythm, and sight reading. I explain every concept in simple English to make learning stress-free.
I personalise lessons based on the student’s goals, whether they want to learn classical music, popular songs, or play for personal enjoyment. I also guide students on how to practise effectively at home.
Many of my students have participated in performances and achieved steady improvement in their skills. Seeing students enjoy piano and grow with confidence is my biggest achievement.

In piano lessons, I combine technical instruction with creative exploration, helping students develop skill, confidence, and a love for music.
I break down concepts into simple steps, provide demonstrations, and adapt lessons to each student’s learning style and pace. I use constructive feedback and positive reinforcement to guide students, making every lesson enjoyable and rewarding.
For other subjects, I apply the same approach, creating lessons that are engaging, interactive, and student-focused. My ultimate aim is to inspire curiosity, build confidence, and help students succeed academically and creatively while enjoying the process.
