About Estella
With 12 years of experience as a Flute tutor, I have had the pleasure of teaching many school and college students with different learning styles and goals. I believe music education should be enjoyable, motivating, and easy to understand. My teaching focuses on building strong fundamentals, including breathing control, posture, finger techniques, rhythm, scales, and tone quality.
I encourage students to practice regularly while enjoying every stage of their musical journey. One of the proudest moments of my career has been watching students perform confidently and discover their own musical abilities.
Along with flute, I teach music theory, ear training, sight reading, beginner music concepts, and performance preparation. My mission is to inspire every student to become a confident and independent musician.

I believe every student can become a confident flute player with proper guidance, regular practice, and a positive learning environment. My teaching methodology is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I focus on making every lesson enjoyable while helping students build strong musical skills.
Before starting, I understand each student's experience, interests, and goals. I then create a lesson plan that matches their learning style. Beginners learn posture, breathing techniques, finger placement, note reading, rhythm, and tone production. As students improve, they learn scales, articulation, dynamics, musical expression, ornamentation, improvisation, and performance skills.
Motivation is part of every lesson because confidence grows through encouragement. I celebrate every achievement and help students develop consistent practice habits. Communication is simple and interactive. I explain every topic clearly, demonstrate techniques, and patiently answer every question.
Integrity is reflected in my teaching through honesty, respect, fairness, punctuality, and patience. Every student receives equal support and learns in a comfortable environment where mistakes are seen as opportunities for improvement.
Creativity makes learning enjoyable. I include warm-up exercises, favourite songs, classical music, folk tunes, rhythm games, ear training, listening activities, duet practice, and simple improvisation.
Besides flute, I also teach music theory, recorder, beginner keyboard, sight reading, rhythm training, performance preparation, and music appreciation. My goal is to help students become skilled, creative, and confident musicians with a lifelong love for music.
