About Catherine
I have done some Suzuki training with Mimi Zweig, childhood teacher of Joshua Bell. I taught private and group lessons for State College Suzuki Program. I was a Graduate Assistant at Penn State University and Denver University. I taught private and group lessons at Children's Music Academy in Philadelphia. I was the violin coach at Dakots Ridge High School, that won top honors nationally. I've coached at various schools in the Denver Public School system. I taught private lessons for Rockley Music Store. I currently teach out of my own private studio.

I accept students age 5 through adult who love music.
For violin students I teach the Suzuki method with standard scales and etudes. For piano students I use the Faber method.
A typical half hour lesson covers about 3 songs. My students progress rapidly.
I have a Bachelor's degree in music performance and I've studied at IU, PSU, and DU. I'm comfortable teaching beginners through advanced students.
