About Rlankey
With 17 years of experience as a piano tutor, I have taught students from different backgrounds including school students, college learners, and working professionals. I am dedicated to making piano learning easy and enjoyable. My teaching style is based on flexibility, communication, and practical learning.
I customise my lessons according to each student’s needs and pace, ensuring they understand every concept clearly. I teach piano along with music theory, rhythm training, and ear development to build strong musical skills. I also include song-based learning to keep lessons engaging.
My unique skill is breaking down difficult topics into simple steps so students can learn without confusion. I help students improve their technique, confidence, and consistency, and guide them in maintaining effective practice routines. I create a friendly and motivating learning environment where students feel encouraged.

My teaching methodology emphasises creative, student-focused, and adaptive lessons. I believe piano lessons should inspire students to express themselves musically while developing technical skills and confidence. Through consistent communication, I learn about each student’s goals, challenges, and learning preferences, which allows me to design lessons that are personalised, engaging, and effective.
Creativity is central to my approach. I encourage students to improvise, compose, and explore various musical styles, helping them develop a unique musical voice and artistic confidence. Flexibility ensures lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, skill level, and preferred learning style, fostering a positive and productive learning environment.
Alongside piano, I teach music theory, sight-reading, rhythm exercises, and ear training. This holistic methodology strengthens technical mastery, expressive ability, and musical understanding. My aim is to nurture confident, creative, and lifelong musicians who enjoy exploring and performing music.
