About Rebecca
I have worked with children for many years as a babysitter, tutor, garden and environmental educator, and most recently as an elementary school teacher for diverse students in kindergarten through fifth grade for the past 12 years. I have also worked with students with a variety of special needs and would love to help you if you have an IEP or 504 Plan.
My favorite thing when working with kids is help them come to see how much they already know and can do all by themselves, even if they never thought they could.

If you are in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade, I can help you feel better about your reading, writing, math, science, or homework!
Together we will turn the tricky part of your work into the easy part of your work!
We will start by getting to know each other a little bit, figuring out what you are struggling with, and then practicing whatever you need to work on until you are confident you can do it on your own.
