About Seth

Hi, I’m Seth — a BSc Economics graduate from Cardiff University, where I specialised in micro and macroeconomic theory, data analysis, and quantitative methods. During my degree, I developed a deep understanding of how economic models explain real-world issues, from inflation and trade to inequality and growth — knowledge I now bring to my teaching. My teaching journey has also taken me to multiple Japanese high schools, from Tokyo to Osaka, where I learned to adapt my explanations to different learning styles and create a calm, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and build confidence quickly. From mentoring undergraduate peers at Cardiff Business School to providing online tuition for college students, I’ve helped learners gain confidence and achieve top results by breaking complex topics into clear, practical steps and linking theory to real-world examples. My lessons focus on understanding the reasoning behind each concept, strengthening analytical and essay-writing skills, and mastering exam techniques that make a real difference in grades. Whether you’re aiming to boost your confidence, refine your exam technique, or achieve top grades in GCSE or A-Level Economics, I’ll provide the structure, clarity, and encouragement you need to succeed.

About the lesson

My lessons are designed to help you achieve top results in GCSE and A-Level Economics. I focus on building the deep understanding and strong exam technique needed to reach the highest grades. Each session is tailored to your goals — whether that’s mastering essay structure, improving analytical depth, or perfecting exam timing. I break complex topics into simple steps and use targeted past-paper practice to quickly identify and strengthen weaker areas. Lessons are one hour long, fully online, and structured to deliver fast, consistent progress and real confidence going into exams.
