About Deirdre
Originally from Ireland where I attended school and university. I then moved to London and taught in a primary school for three years where I taught Year 2 and then in Year 6. In 2019 I moved to Ballarat, Australia where I worked at Ballarat Grammar for two years before going on Maternity leave.
I have decided to move into tutoring as I enjoyed small group interventions whilst teaching and believe students require 1:1 teaching and this is not always possible in school. I endeavour to meet students needs in a fun and safe learning environment.

Each lesson will be individually planned to meeting the learning requirements and specific learning criteria. It is my aim as a teacher to create engaging and fun lessons for each student whilst maintaining a clear understanding of student’s learning and how to better improve it.
Lessons will run for 45 minutes and aimed towards primary school students.
