About Eileen
I am a singer and have used the vocal training methods of Seth Riggs, Anne Peckham, Kim Chandler and Stevie Van Lang. I have years of experience in Stage, TV, and Cabaret work. I have been a vocal coach for the TV series of SA PopStars for the entire run lasting 7 years, and have worked in the same capacity as a coach in "So you wanna be famous" I have also done work in Kenya, Tanzania and Zambia for a similar talent show called "Star Search". I started teaching eight years ago in Johannesburg, but now teach in Cape Town specializing in Pop, Jazz and Rock.

I base my teaching on Seth Riggs' Speech Level Singing concept which I used myself when singing professionally, and have found Kim Chandler and Anne Peckham to be very effective as well. I give Private and group classes and also teach online. I have pupils in Vancouver Canada, and London UK.
I have found a way round the "latency" difficulty of teaching online and find it very useful at this time, although I prefer "live" interaction with my pupils. I teach from my home, at Paul Bothner Studio in Plumstead and at a local high School.
