About Geonsu
Hello! My name is Geonsu Kim, a passionate and dedicated Korean language tutor. I am currently pursuing the Level 2 Korean Language Teaching Certification, and I focus on creating lessons that are interactive, communicative, and culturally enriching. In my classes, students not only learn grammar and vocabulary but also explore unique aspects of Korean customs and everyday life — from etiquette and holidays to modern expressions and trends. I strive to make each lesson enjoyable, encouraging students to speak confidently and experience Korean culture naturally through language. My goal is to help learners connect with Korea through its language and culture, in a comfortable and motivating learning environment. I hope we meet soon!

My teaching approach is communication-centered and culture-integrated.
I believe that language is not just grammar and vocabulary, but also a window into people’s thoughts, habits, and traditions.
That’s why I include fun and fascinating aspects of Korean customs and culture in my lessons — from everyday etiquette, holidays, and food culture to unique social expressions and pop trends.
I also use multimedia tools such as short videos, photos, and interactive activities to make learning both visual and engaging.
