About Chris
I have worked in music retail for 20 years at a family-owned company. I worked as an educator and manager. Although I do not have a conservatory degree, I was trained privately on guitar as well as keyboard and bass guitar. I have studied music theory at the conservatory level. Presently my individual emphasis is on blues guitar. I feel blues also gives the student a good understanding of how to play rock and many other styles.

Starting with little or no knowledge of the guitar you will quickly learn your favorite songs fast with my methods. Emphasis is placed on rhythm study and technique. The student will learn coordination to play in style. What is essential is that we will work with recording gear and tracks that will keep you on a target goal. Lessons are reasonable and are either 1/2 or 3/4 hrs. I strive to have you develop a love for the guitar. Your next steps can be to join a band or ensemble.
