Course setup
I have only taught a friend via a video chat since I offered to teach basic Chinese to him to help refresh what he has learned in the past. I played games with him and made little flashcards to help make the lesson more fun. I gave him weekly quizzes to ensure he was learning and understanding what I taught. I also assisted my coworker with Chinese homework and helped explain specific topics to him when he had trouble.
