About Ella
Maths is a subject that's all about practice. I aim to provide people with wider knowledge of the maths learnt to give context behind why the maths actually works. Going through my recent A level exams taught me not just the subject material, but also how important it is to find the right way of learning. I know what it feels like to face challenging topics, to put in the effort, and to finally see it pay off.

My tutoring style is all about making learning feel approachable and confidence-building. I focus on understanding how each student learns best, then break down tough topics into clear, manageable steps. If something doesn’t click right away, I’ll explain it in a new way until it does. I also use simple strategies—like practice questions and real-life examples—to make ideas stick. More than anything, I want students to feel supported, capable, and encouraged to enjoy the learning process. I couple this with exam practice as well as answering any questions my students have for me relating to the current topics they are studying. I will work at their own pace to ensure they fully understand the content and feel confident in exams.
