My teaching approach is strongly influenced by my academic and professional experience, as well as by the high standards for clarity, rigor, and organization in teaching set by the mentors and professors I learned from at Instituto Superior Técnico.
I believe cybersecurity and networking can only be understood through practice. For this reason, I carefully prepare every lesson in advance, combining short theoretical explanations with hands-on exercises, real examples, and guided problem-solving. I like to keep everything well organized so that students always know what we are doing, why we are doing it, and how it connects to real-world scenarios.
A typical lesson begins with a brief review of key concepts, followed by practical demonstrations or labs. It ends with applied exercises and discussion. I adapt the pace and depth of each lesson to the students' level and goals.
What sets me apart is my practical mindset, structured methodology, and active work and research in cybersecurity. I don't just teach concepts; I demonstrate how they are applied in real environments.
My lessons are suitable for university students, IT or cybersecurity beginners, certification candidates, and career-switchers who want to build strong, practical foundations.
