About Sophia
I've always love teaching kids and being a role model for them. I completed 1.5 years of primary education at university and was able to obtain my diploma of education. I taught dance at my school for students aged 9-15 in jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and lyrical. I've danced my whole life and in school, I was dance captain in year 11 and completed my high school studies with top of the grade in dance. I love having fun while working hard to achieve your personal goals not only in technique but self confidence!

My lessons are for any age and any level of experience! My lessons go for an hour but can be longer if need be. I believe this amount of time will give us enough time to stretch and work on technique and routines. I believe in honing in on technique as it is the foundation for dance and consistency and perfect practice creates perfect results!
I teach with a positive attitude providing helpful criticism that isn't harsh or toxic - I believe in creating a safe environment with a balance of work and play.
My main goal for our lesson is to tick off your personal goals, build confidence and of course have fun! Smiling from our fun and tired from our hard work is how I expect my students to be leaving!
