About Ayoola
Hi! I am Duke Ellington School of the Arts graduate and am currently pursuing a BFA at Howard University. Being a graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts means that alongside my normal high school classes, everyday I would learn from real life artists how to make art. Although I am currently apart of Howard University’s Fine Arts Department, other arts programs I have been accepted by have been: Maryland Institute College of Art, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Pratt Institute, and Virginia Commonwealth University Arts Program.

Lessons: Color, color relativity. How to translate that into painting. Color mixing. I teach drawing based off of the person’s understanding of the anatomy of their subject, so once they come across a subject similar to that one again, they can draw based on the knowledge they gained from the previous lesson rather that a grid and/or a method that prioritizes the accuracy of a still image. I would almost encourage students to imagine that subject at another angle (with the knowledge of perspective) as practice. There will be a lesson on drawing the guidelines for each linear perspective. Anyone open to learning how to paint and drawing in their spare time is welcome. I’m currently unavailable until September.
