About Albert
I was born and raised in San Francisco. As I grew up as a teenager, I used to go to all the concerts at the Fillmore Auditorium, and even at Winterland I saw Jimi Hendrix. I grew up just during that later part of the hippie scene. I used to love bands like Quicksilver Messenger Service. I’ve seen Little Richard live at the Dragon of Gogo. I grew up listening to a lot of really good music.

Within the San Francisco, Bay Area, I’ve been playing for more than 40 years. I have played in quite a few venues here in San Francisco. I’ve played in the famous Boom Boom Room. I’ve even played at Sigmund Stern Grove. And bars and restaurants as well. My specialty is teaching you how to play your instrument and sing at the same time and how to listen to other instruments while you’re playing at the same time knowing how to listen and what to listen for in the music. It’s important that dynamics are used to make the music feel right. First, you need a good foundation. The basics learning to read is helpful, but not everybody wants to learn to read music. Making application of what you learn is important even if it’s a simple groove.
