About Cassie
My name is Cassie, and I was lucky enough to live in Southampton in the south of England for 2 years. I tried to integrate myself as much as possible in the country, with my job, but also at home with roommates who only spoke English.
Unfortunately my relationship with the English language has not always been very good and my high school teachers had even given up teaching me anything in this subject. Then I met people who made me appreciate the language and in a few months my results went up. After my A-levels I continued to progress until I became bilingual enough to manage to live in the country.

I give my lessons as I would have liked to be taught English: using subjects that interest me.
There are many ways to approach the language: social networks, YouTube, Netflix, books, music, travel etc.
No matter what your passions are, we will always find a way to make learning the language fun.
It's hard to learn something you don't like, or to get involved in an area you don't see the need for.
The English language is very useful and can easily be learned with the right tools.
My experience: I learned a lot by watching series or movies with subtitles. This helps to train the ear and to become familiar with different accents. Add to that a few grammar exercises and you're done!
