About Tracy
I live in Beeville, Texas, where I enjoy life with my child and our chihuahua. When I’m not teaching or tutoring, I love spending time reading, exercising, and watching movies. With 17 years of teaching experience—mostly in special education but also across math, reading, writing, science, and social studies—I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion for helping students grow. Since 2018, I’ve worked with several online ESL and tutoring companies, and I currently tutor for (concealed information). My goal is to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where every student can succeed.

My teaching method is student-centered, structured, and engaging. I use a combination of direct instruction, guided practice, and interactive activities to help students strengthen their reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, and writing skills. I also incorporate scaffolding and modeling—first showing students how to approach a task, then gradually encouraging independence. To keep lessons engaging, I use graphic organizers, discussion prompts, and real-world examples that connect literature and writing to students’ lives.
