About Marian
Former homeschool teacher, computer specialist, started teaching English as a second language in 1992 to a Hispanic family our family came to know. I am known for reaching out to help those who cannot speak English or have trouble translating.

I begin with survival words, words needed when you shop, when you go to the doctor, hair appointments and such. If the student is a child, I begin just as I did with my own children, with the basics also teaching them to write as they speak.

Details
Depending on the distance to be traveled, I would prefer to teach in my home where I have a computer set up, fast internet speed. Student will be responsible for any workbook materials needed. Though I have many materials myself. If I travel I would request a gas milage stipend of $.60/mile.
