About Amy
I am a veteran art teacher who has a lot to offer art students. I thrive on making creative relationships happen and designing interesting and skill-infused activities that help artists progress. I live on my own, sort of - I have three small dogs, two cats, and three parrots, who are delightful. My own art is often mixed media, especially mixed media textile pieces that have been shown in local, national, and international exhibits as well as in magazines. Unfortunately, I have some medical issues that have cut into my productivity in recent years, but I never give up and do whatever creative activity I can do each day. I think art is a wonderful medicine!

I have vast experience with so many areas of Visual Art, and also with different kinds of students. Adults and children, formal groups and informal groups around the kitchen table. Students with disabilities are welcome (and often excel at art!) I teach online and in person, and would love to hear what you are looking for to see if I'd be a good fit.
