About Imogen
I understand that tutoring after school or in general can be a significant commitment, but my lessons won't be like your school classes. They will be more focused on your learning style, the best way to help you understand information, and remember the key elements that will yield the results you want. Your grades and understanding are extremely important, but learning is much easier when you enjoy the process. I will plan my sessions on a student-by-student basis to teach you in a way that you find enjoyable and productive.

My lessons can be anywhere between 30 minutes and 1 hour. My teaching style is designed to ensure you understand the topic while also covering the key marking points. I will take often complex topics and make them easy to understand without sacrificing content or specifics. Tutoring can often be hard to focus on after a day of school, but my lessons will be fun and a change of pace from everyday classes. I have a degree in Ancient History from the University of Exeter (2.1), have a professional understanding of politics and achieved a 9 in both my English lit and lang GCSEs, as well as an A* in both my Politics and History A-levels. My lessons are for Yr7-13.
