About Ivan
I am currently a 3rd year student at Trinity College Dublin, where I am majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Statistics. My own struggles with understanding certain math concepts at college have motivated me to help students gain a clearer understanding of the subject and achieve better results in the Leaving Cert. I regularly help my brother, who is preparing for his Leaving Cert this June.

I focus on making math intuitive and manageable for students. From my own experience, the most effective way to study math is by working through past exam questions, so I base my lessons heavily around exam papers. In lessons, I break problems down step by step, making sure each part is fully understood before moving on. I strongly encourage students to ask questions at any time, as this helps build understanding. As a Math student at Trinity College Dublin, I regularly deal with challenging concepts myself, so I understand how frustrating math can feel when it isn’t explained clearly. This helps me explain topics in a simple, clear and relatable way. Lessons are typically 1 hour long and are designed for Leaving Cert students who want to improve their exam performance.
