About Liz
I've always had a strong passion for STEM. I am curious about how the world works and love solving problems. I hold a Master’s degree in International Journalism, which has strengthened my ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. These skills are a core part of how I teach, helping students understand difficult concepts in a way that’s engaging and easy to follow. Tutoring allows me to stay connected to my love for science and maths while helping students build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve their goals.

I identify the student's pace and learning style and adapt my teaching to suit their needs. I ensure the foundations are clear before moving onto real-world examples and challenging their understanding. I create a learning environment that encourages questions, as they promote deeper engagement with the subject. Lessons are usually 60 minutes, but I can offer longer or shorter lessons depending on the student’s needs and attention span. I have tutored Maths and Science for 3 years, working with a range of students from primary school level to GCSE. Whether you're a student struggling with the basics, preparing for an exam, or looking to deepen your understanding of a subject, I tailor lessons to your level and learning goals.
