About Karsan
Teaching has always been something I’ve been passionate about. Having been fortunate enough to receive excellent tutoring myself, I know first-hand how transformative personalized education can be. During my GCSE years in particular, I often relied on tutoring to reinforce classroom learning. My tutors not only helped me grasp difficult concepts but also inspired me to approach challenges with confidence. Their guidance showed me that, with the right support and approach, even the most complex subjects can become accessible. That's why I’ve chosen to teach. I want to give back by helping others, especially those who may struggle with confidence or feel lost in a larger classroom setting. Teaching has allowed me to not only share my academic expertise but also to develop meaningful connections with students, encouraging them to reach their full potential.

As an online tutor, my approach is centered around fostering a deep understanding of core concepts while building a supportive and encouraging learning environment where the student can freely ask any questions. With grades 9999 in Maths and Sciences at GCSE and grades AAA (in maths, biology and chemistry) at A-level, I have a strong foundation in the subjects I teach. I combine this knowledge with a student-centered approach, adapting to individual learning styles and needs, and I teach students aged 11 to 16 (Year 7-11).
My lessons are typically 1 to 2 hours long, depending on the student's requirements and the subject matter, allowing flexibility to ensure thorough understanding without overwhelming the student. I emphasize active engagement and critical thinking, encouraging students to ask questions and explore topics in depth. My teaching methods include problem-solving exercises, real-world applications, and interactive discussions to make learning both effective and enjoyable.
I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, guiding students through challenging material at a suitable pace. Regular assessments of progress allow me to adjust my teaching style to meet the evolving needs of each student. Whether it's exam preparation or enhancing general understanding, my aim is to empower students to achieve their academic goals while developing a passion for learning.
