About Tomiwa
My name is Tomiwa Oyegade, and I am a student at Harrow School, going into Year 13. My favourite subjects are Maths, Latin and Ancient Greek, which is why I teach them. I achieved A* in all of those subjects, and at the GCSE level, I achieved 9s in Maths and Latin (I got one of the highest scores with 185/200), and an 8 in Ancient Greek. I am really passionate about helping others succeed, and I believe that no matter how much a student is struggling, there is a way to improve their grades tremendously. I am quite serious about tutoring but I am the kind of person anyone can have a conversation with, which I feel is very important to creating a relationship between tutor and student.

I teach by first explaining the topic at hand. Then I work through some examples with them until they understand it. With pupils who are struggling more than others, I try to relate the topic to something they are interested in, and I use that to teach the topic to them. When they are comfortable, I make them do some practice, and then we'll go through it together. I also set homework for them to do based on the topic covered.
My lessons typically take an hour but it can be more or less than that based on the needs of the student.
I have tutored my brother on Common Entrance Maths and Common Entrance Latin.
My lessons are for Common Entrance Maths students, Common Entrance Latin students, and Common Entrance Classical Greek students.
