About the lesson

I believe in personalization of teaching structure for each student as each child is unique. Adjusting the pace of the lesson to accommodate active participation and understanding often eases the process of learning new content. My lessons are differentiated and structured to suit the needs of my learner. I enjoy starting our sessions with warm-up activities where I check the status of my students' understanding of content previously covered. Checking their understanding and adjusting the teaching load and pace accordingly is key to our progression. Another important aspect of my lessons is frequent and constructive feedback. Students benefit a great deal from constant feedback and scope to improve. Currently, I tutor Primary and Secondary school students from my residence and online. A typical lesson is usually an hour long. However, if the child needs me to spend more or less time in order for optimal learning to occur, I always accommodate their needs. I teach Science and Math including Biology, Chemistry at Primary and Secondary levels.
