About Ivan
I've been teaching at Studio Arts in Los Angeles since 2022.
I began with SketchUp back in 2010 as part of my career as an Art Director for TV/Film. Since then I've been producing SketchUp models for construction, and rendering with software like the Unreal Engine and Twinmotion.
SketchUp is is not difficult to learn, but I never leave a student behind! Everyone can take advantage of this extremely powerful tool by learning it the correct way - from the start.

I teach SketchUp the right way, from the beginning. Knowing proper techniques and how to organize is key to producing good models.
I guide students step by step through the process of building interiors and exteriors, including furnishing and natural environments. Each lesson is a project we'll complete, based on a plan.
I'm an experienced Art Director in the film/tv industry, designing sets for construction and rendering. I can help students prep their models for next steps, whether it's for game development, set building or architecture previsualization.
