About Pete
I am an experienced educator and historian with a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and over a decade of college-level teaching experience. He has taught a wide range of history courses—including Western Civilization, World History, Islamic Civilizations, and Modern Russian History—across multiple institutions, both in-person and online. In addition to his teaching credentials, Dr. Rottier brings extensive expertise in instructional design and online learning, currently serving as an Instructional Designer at the University of Arizona. His courses are known for their interactivity, rigor, and alignment with diverse learning styles, making him exceptionally well-qualified to support and inspire students through individualized tutoring.
