I am a sophomore student who is working on a Bachelor of Science at Portland State University. I have experience volunteering at Strive2Thrive, an international tutoring organization focusing on educating children from rural areas and developing countries. I also tutored Algebra at my high school. I had a 4.0 GPA in high school and a 3.8 GPA in college.

I am fond of active recall, so my lessons will utilize ensuring students have acquired knowledge before moving on to the next topic. This would be through quizzes, flashcards, or even Kahoots.
A typical lesson plan would first introduce students to the topic by relating it to topics they are already familiar with, thoroughly covering the given material, then testing active recall and working on strengthing problem-solving techniques for the given subject.
I am strong in a variety of subjects and can offer a multidisciplinary approach depending on a student's unique learning style. I also have experience tutoring and learning online and understand how to best present material through digital media.
My lessons are geared towards Primary-School aged students to Freshman (college) level students.
