About Quincy

I’m Quincy, a teacher and creative developer with a background in 2D and 3D art, game development, and visual storytelling. I currently teach students in both college and university settings, where I guide them in building strong creative and technical foundations.

Over the years, I’ve worked with different types of learners, from complete beginners to more advanced students, and I’ve learned how to break down complex concepts into clear, practical steps. My focus is always on real understanding and steady progress.

Students appreciate my direct and honest approach, as well as the structure I bring into each lesson. I aim to create a learning environment where you feel supported, challenged, and motivated to improve.

About the lesson

My approach is focused on helping you actually understand drawing, not just copy what you see. I teach fundamentals first — lines, shapes, observation, values, and anatomy — because that’s what allows you to improve consistently and draw from imagination.

A typical lesson starts with short warm-ups to build control, followed by a focused topic (like light and shadow or anatomy), and then guided practice with feedback. I adjust the pace based on your level.

What sets me apart is that I’m direct and structured. I’ll show you exactly what to work on and why, without wasting time. My lessons are for beginners and intermediate students who feel stuck and want a solid foundation, as well as creatives who want to move into character design or visual development.
