About Emily
I am a legitimate teacher and tutor. I have been teaching Mathematics at the elementary, middle, high school and university levels for almost five years now. I have also been tutoring since I began my own studies in university, so that's approximately ten years now!
My passion is teaching and it gives me personal fulfillment to know that I helped someone understand something they didn't previously.

First, I want to know what you know, and also what you're struggling with. Then, we can work together to break down the problem and understand the given topic. Sometimes, depending on the subject of course, I'll create fresh examples in the moment for practice or to reiterate a learned topic, all with which fall within the scope of the struggled topic.
What sets me apart as a tutor? My determined attitude to get you to understand the lesson and my empathetic nature toward any struggles along the way! And I also am respectful of your time, e.g., I understand that if a topic can be taught sufficiently in 5 minutes, there's no need to take 15 minutes to lecture it unless that's what the student wants (or needs)!
My goal is to make sure you leave our sessions with no questions, and a complete understanding of the lesson at hand.
