About Aleathea
I am a Teacher Candidate entering my last year of Teachers' College at Lakehead University. I have experience tutoring and student teaching ages 5-12 and would be delighted to support your child in whatever learning they require this summer!
My tutoring experience includes about two years of both virtual and in-person lessons. With that, I am well-equipped to navigate any technical difficulties and provide captivating lessons while behind a screen!
Additionally, I hold certificates in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (from LearnTEFL) and Basics of Decoding and Spelling Instruction (from the IDA of Ontario).

My goal as a teacher is to ensure each student feels empowered to learn in whichever way is suited to them. Through a relationship-based approach, I will be sure to get to know your child's learning style and offer them learning that is both engaging and accessible.
