About Katie
I currently teach in a wonderful secondary school, however, I am keen to provide a more tailored lesson to pupil and look forward to seeing the progress and outcome of each pupil. I am extremely interested in the pedagogy of pupils and tutoring allows me to take the time to understand each individual pupil and how they learn.

Week-to week, I like to begin each lesson with a quick Q&A on the topics discussed during the last lesson, to see what information has been retained and what we might need to revisit. I teach through a broad range of materials, mainly, exam material sources and power points and will share all sources with the students directly after the lesson.
At the end of each lesson, I will set out homework for the pupil to complete a few days before the next lesson. I will have this corrected and ready to discuss feedback before the next lessons take place. I normally find that the more work I receive from a pupil, the better I am able to understand where they need the most help.
